2025 marks the tenth anniversary of the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance. Since its inception, USC Kaufman has had a profound impact on the lives of thousands of students by using dance as a platform to cultivate a passion for artistry, expression, and community. It is also a time to celebrate the legacy of Glorya Kaufman herself, a lifelong dance enthusiast, philanthropist, and the school’s founder and namesake.

The challenge

USC Kaufman wanted to celebrate their tenth anniversary in a big way with a year-long, campus-wide campaign and benefit gala. The challenge for UNINCORPORATED was creating a bold, attention-grabbing collection of assets that would weave together to tell the story and celebrate the achievements of USC Kaufman’s first decade. 

Strategy

UNINCORPORATED worked with USC Kaufman’s leadership team to create a system of colorful, expressive materials that worked together to commemorate their tenth anniversary milestone across web, print, and experiential touchpoints. 
  • Campus Posters and Banners served as a visual tool to celebrate alumni while also cross-promoting USC Kaufman within the broader USC campus system.
  • Gala Save-the-Dates and Formal Invitations featured gold foil and fine texture to grab the attention of the patrons who received them and encourage them to attend the big event. 
  • 10th Anniversary Microsite served as the central information hub for all the anniversary spotlight stories, updates, and gala information and registration.
  • Magazine Ads and Email Communications allowed USC Kaufman to extend the message of their anniversary celebration to those outside the walls of the USC ecosystem.
  • Impact Report Publication served as a comprehensive guide chronicling the major milestones of USC Kaufman’s first ten years and celebrating the people who made it possible. 

Results

The tenth anniversary campaign collateral designed by UNINCORPORATED achieved the goal of commemorating USC Kaufman’s first decade milestone, while also enabling the school to reach the eyes and hearts of their community of generous supporters who help make it possible for the next decade of students to pursue their dreams. The campaign also served as a way for USC Kaufman to gain exposure with a broader audience of potential future students.
