The county faced the dual challenge of overcoming the pandemic’s negative impact and revitalizing its public image as a safe and vibrant destination for tourists and businesses.
Strategy
To re-engage the community and attract visitors, we developed a comprehensive marketing strategy named "Discover SnoCo". This included a multifunctional website allowing local businesses to create profiles and sell products, and featured rich media content to keep the platform dynamic. The strategy was supported by targeted print and digital advertising, engaging social media campaigns, and interactive elements like a "Netflix-style" itinerary builder for tourists.
Results
The campaign successfully improved public perception of Snohomish as a safe and attractive destination, significantly boosting local business engagement and tourist visits. The website became a central hub for interaction, showcasing Snohomish County not only as a picturesque place to visit but also a thriving community to do business in.
