
The challenge
FSU’s College of Fine Arts website was outdated, both in design and functionality. The site’s structure
was overly complex, which made it difcult for key audiences—prospective students, current
students, and faculty—to navigate and nd critical information. Outdated content and an inconsistent
presentation of the college’s creative identity further undermined the user experience. The visual
design failed to reect the college’s innovative and artistic nature, leaving an uninspired rst
impression on visitors. Additionally, the site lacked responsiveness and accessibility, preventing a
seamless experience across devices.

Strategy
UNINCORPORATED partnered with FSU’s College of Fine Arts to deliver a complete website
redesign and rebuild. The project began with userresearch to understand the needs and behaviors of
the college’s primary audiences. With these insights, we restructured the site’s architecture to
simplify navigation and ensure that key information—such as program details, admissions processes,
and faculty directories—was easy to nd. A modern, dynamic design was developed to reect the
college’s creativity and academic excellence. Bold visuals, clean layouts, and strategic use of FSU
branding were integrated to highlight the energy and achievements of the programs. Content was
streamlined to focus on clarity,relevance, and engagement, while the development phase ensured
the site was fully responsive and accessible across all devices. To future-proof the website, we
optimized its content management system, delivering a fast, intuitive platform that meets the
technical and functional needs of the college.

Results
The redesigned website transformed the digital presence of FSU’s College of Fine Arts, delivering a
modern, user-friendly experience that successfully met the needs of its audiences. Visitors found
navigating the site signicantly easier, with clear pathways to essential information and program
details. User engagement improved, with an increase in page views and time spent exploring content.
The refreshed design now reects the college’s artistic excellence and dynamic student work, aligning
the online experience with its real-world reputation. Mobile visitors also beneted from a fully
responsive design, ensuring seamless access to the site from any device. Faculty, staff, and students
provided overwhelmingly positive feedback, expressing pride in the website’s modern look and
