The Alzheimer’s Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI) is dedicated to helping the world confront the problem of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) by rigorously testing novel treatments and identifying reliable markers for early detection of the disease. ATRI coordinates and oversees the NIH-funded Alzheimer’s Clinical Trials Consortium (ACTC), whose mission is to accelerate the development of effective interventions for AD and related disorders by coordinating shared expertise and utilizing centralized resources.

The challenge

The ATRI team had a unique challenge in that they needed to communicate their mission and vision to a wider audience, but their team was primarily focused on scientific research rather than marketing and storytelling. In order to raise awareness for its studies and progress, it needed a strategic partner to help it craft its message and create compelling content that would resonate with its target audience.

Strategy

We focused on enhancing digital engagement by overhauling the website with user-friendly design and integrating compelling content, including blogs and videos that spotlight ATRI's groundbreaking research. Social media platforms became pivotal in disseminating updates and engaging with the community, supported by targeted content creation that drove visibility and interaction. This multifaceted approach not only elevated ATRI's online presence but also fostered a deeper connection with its audience, marking a significant stride in its mission to advance Alzheimer's research.

Results

By partnering with UNINCORPORATED, ATRI was able to achieve a number of significant results. The new website for ATRI and the redesigned websites for its studies provided a more user-friendly and cohesive experience for visitors, making it easier to access information about the organization and its work. The standardized sub-department templates allowed ATRI to present a more consistent and professional image across all of its materials. The creation of blog content, videos, and social media content helped to build awareness and engagement among ATRI's target audience while also providing valuable educational resources for the community.
