Our History
Journey Through Time
2003
In 2003, Ian Evenstar founded UNINCORPORATED out of his garage as a music and entertainment company. After spending several years at an advertising agency, he wanted to pursue his lifelong desire to provide for others, and UNINCORPORATED was born.
2004
But late in 2004, Ian got the opportunity to return to his Alma Mater (USC) as Director of Design where he would lead the University’s design department. He was charged with managing the university’s global brand identity, as well as website properties, print, and media campaigns, interactive media projects, campus, and retail environments, and student services and recruitment. It was in this role that his passion for helping higher education institutions was born.
2011
So in 2011, Ian decided to leave USC in order to pursue building and growing his agency, UNINCORPORATED. For the next 8 years, he and the agency would grow, working with some of the biggest names including Alaska Airlines, Barnes & Noble, and of course, USC. But as the relationship with USC continued to grow, and other colleges and universities were requesting help, it only made sense to him and the agency’s leadership team to “niche down” and position the agency for higher education only.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
